Can it be that 30 years have gone by so quickly? Here we are! So many memories and so little space...I think about the fact that I honed my skills as "class clown" back in the day at LHS and now I am doing it for a living with a spatula in my hand. I remember as if it was yesterday going out to Westgate Mall to pick up the newest George Carlin comedy 8-track and thinking that the FBI would pick me up in the parking lot because I was only 17 and I possessed the "7 words you can't say on tv" (thanks for the laughs, George!). I remember clearly attending our 10th reunion at 160 Lbs. (over 100 Lbs. less than when I graduated) and now heading back to my 30th with every bit of that reclaimed and then some. An occupational hazard, nobody trusts a skinny chef! As a TV Chef I tape my segments with 2-3 cameras for five shows a week, and you know that a camera adds 10 Lbs.! Do the math! Anyway, my next cookbook is "Chef William...Loosin' It. A year of loosing deliciously"

I have nothing to complain about. I am absolutely blessed. Norrie, my beautiful wife of 24 years (Norrie Chapman class of 1980), and I have 3 great kids. Katelyn (21) a senior at Cleveland State Univ. for a BA in Acting, Robert (20) recent grad of Full Sail Univ in Orlando with a BS in Film, and Daniel (12) about to embark on his 8th grade year and still weighing his options for a future career!

Of course our family dog "Tippy" who I truly believe is the reincarnation of my boyhood dog of the same name. Anyway he is doing the best he can putting up with the Sugar Gliders Robert brought home from college with him!
