I traveled some after high school and lived in NYC while attending NYU. I was married to Gary for 24 years before he died in 2006. We have 3 children - Maya who is married to Mark (they have 2 sons); Matthew, a sports writer living in DC, who is married to Taylor and Gabriella, a student at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
I currently live in Greenville, NC where I am a professor of educational leadership working with future principals and superintendents.
